Bring
Yourself Fest is a free D.I.Y underground festival taking place in Bristol
on Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of
September 2004.
It is a case of spontaneity, of interactivity, of you-and-me-kid-busting-loose.
The festival will incorporate music and visual art and workshops and
political agenda and dance parties and food. We encourage anyone with
ideas to get in touch or to show up and shake some action!
click
here for more about the festival and us...
We're planning
to record as much of the festival as we can, but we need your help!
Do you have a mini-disc or dictaphone or anything else you can use to
record sound onto? Bring it along and record...
After the festival we will be putting together a live CD which you can
purchase on the weekend (or at least you purchase the beautiful hand-made
sleeve/envelope, put your name and address on it, and then receive tasty
live goodies in the mail...). The CD's will be sold as a benefit for
Cafe Mono and the Here shop & gallery for a donation of £5
- £10 (pay what you can afford).
Also, if you have a camera, take lots of pictures/video/super 8 and
send us copies!!!

There is still
space available for your distro/label/political campaign/fortune telling/swap
meet. get in touch for more info... write
us

Our
line up is pretty jam packed, but we encourage anyone who wants to play
as part of the festival to come and set up a show in the street, the
park, someone's house... wherever! On the Sunday there will also be
'open microphone' slots at the Cube, where you can claim up to quater-an-hour
to do your thing (1pm - 2.30pm); and an open forum disscussion group
at the Here gallery (4pm - 6pm) ...bring it!
please write to
us for all the answers...
